Lizzie Chen is a documentary photographer and multimedia producer based in Austin, TX. She is interested in capturing the stories of marginalized communities. As a first generation Taiwanese American, she is also interested in reporting on immigrants, and minorities, particularly the Latino and Asian community.  She is also interested in helping non-profits bring their stories to life through videos and photos. 

Her work has been published across the nation, including NPR News, NPR Music, PBS Newshour, NBC News, Philly Inquirer, Smithsonian Asian Pacific Islander Center, The Center for Public Integrity, LBJ Presidential Library, KUT News, Texas Observer and other media outlets. Most recently, she is working on a documentary capturing the lives of four seniors at East Austin College Prep as they prepare to graduate and go on to college.

She received her Masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin in journalism. She is currently creating multimedia at Southwest Key Programs.
